The Issue

  • The perinatal health community has limited opportunities to collaborate with and learn from one another especially amongst health care providers, insurers, and community based organizations

  • Pregnant people are not receiving culturally responsive pregnancy care, and connections between care providers are rarely made

  • Perinatal health practitioners and community health providers face systemic barriers that decrease their ability serve

  • Community driven efforts are often time marginalized in perinatal support
