Birth Advocacy and Rights toolkit

The Birth Advocacy and Rights toolkit was developed on the premise to empower birthing people with the tools and knowledge they need to advocate for themselves and their babies. Our goal is to ensure all people regardless of access support systems, understand, and are knowledgeable about their rights during in the perinatal period

Healing Birth Trauma Support Groups

This Healing Birth Trauma workshop series is a processing group for the BIPOC community, FREE of charge. ⁣This group will explore how birth trauma impacts us emotionally and physically, allowing us to gather tools to actively heal trauma around birth experiences, while utilizing traditional herbal supports.⁣⁣

2020 Community Data Collective

The Maternal Coalition is creating an opportunity to witness those who received perinatal care, hospital/home birth, stillbirth/miscarriage, or termination support during the pandemic. We are specifically focusing on those who endured trauma during their birth or postpartum experiences, while under the care of providers.

We believe that birth includes loss, live birth, miscarriage, stillbirth, and termination.

In Fall of 2021, TMC will be hosting group and 1:1 interview sessions to hear more about your stories, and use this data to communicate directly with care providers. Participants will be compensated for their time.
