Birthing Hospitals
As of june 2020. Restrictions below
Here is an update spreadsheet created by another birth worker but its the best and most concise information i have found
UW MEDICINE MONTLAKE AND NW HOSPITAL AND VALLEY: 2 visitor allowed, all people being admitted to NW are required to take a Covid test
Everyone supporting the birthing person including the birthing person will get screened upon entry for Covid-19
In some hospitals, doulas are NOT allowed to leave the birthing room, bring toiletries and things you may need as to not leave the room.
In some hospitals, birthing people and partners are also not permitted to leave the room or walk the hallways
“Proof of certification” (clearly not defined) may be required in several hospitals, best advice is to keep anything on you that shows you’re a doula (training, business cards, employer letter) and be prepared for total uncertainty
PALS is certifying 90 days conditional if you have a birth coming up and need proof of certification

Hosting virtual support groups on FB for parents and families to ask questions, and find support: “Hi FOCS Fam! We heard you. Thank you for your beautiful suggestions. FOCS will have a line open for a Zoom videoconference to offer the community a chance to check-in and connect. We can't "fix" COVID-19-related problems on this call; but we CAN provide a platform for a community wellness check, for parents to share glows and grows, and for us at FOCS to share some of our upcoming plans. Kids on the screen or in the background are expected. :)” https://www.facebook.com/events/510689536538951/?notif_t=plan_user_invited¬if_id=1584472678937641
